Oh girlfiend - TRADERS is my absolute FAVE FAVE FAVE!
we get the chili lime burgers every week for weekend lunches or week night quick dinners.
we get a bunch of the flash frozen fish (Salmon, mahi, and cod filets)....you can toss them in the oven frozen for 18-25 mins and they come out DELISH...cooking instructions included.
I always pick up sliced apples, peeled/chopped sweet potato fries, tons of frozen veggies (some plain and some of the pre-prepared mixes)
Love their soups in the boxes.
I get freeze dried strawberries for healthy plain cereals
LOVE their indian foods but they do have a lot of sodium...which is just the nature of pre-made indian food.
I always stock up on their 90 second brown rice.
Love their chicken and turkey chili cans...freakin DELISH!!!
Love their 3 bean salad...canned.
Pre-marinated pot roast.
Will post more as stuff comes to mind. I AM FREAKING OBSESSED!!!

HEATHER!!
I am so excited that we have the traders bond! I keep barking on here about how freakin fantastic traders is and no one seems to bite!
We get the fresh sweet pot too...not the frozen. They're so awesome with literally just s/p and some olive oil. We loved when they get a little charred....delish!

they have a really good thai chicken salad (bunch of salt but not bad in any other respect and great for a super quick lunch/snack)

I love their brand of greek yogo...the 2% is freakin so creamy
They have a great 3 layer hummus
Wine country chicken salad is AH-mazing...another great lunch....

Love their frozen mahi burgers - pretty simply but you can jazz em up with one of their sauces/marinades

Re: TRADER JOES
and yes, the mac and cheese balls are effing crazy good!!
Traders is the BEST for entertaining! They have such a great selection of frozen apps that are soooo above average!
The ham and cheese puffs are outta this world!
The one frozen app I DONT love are the cocktail weenies...they're seasoned...I'm kinda a cocktail weener purist.

OMG so is the frozen fish delish?
I used to go to trader joe's weekly but moved a bit farther away and havent been in ages.
maybe this is what is missing in my life.
LOVE the frozen turkey meatballs, LOVE EVERYTHING i could go on and on and on!
And i miss that sentiment where my cart is full and its at least HALF the $$$ i expect it to be!!!!
Speaking of the canned turkey chili- they had a recipe going last year.. dump a couple cans in a casserole dish, mix up the cornbread recipe and dump it on top, bake it and EAT IT. DELICIOUS.

LOVE Trader Joe's.
Their white cheddar popcorn is really good and 2 pts for 1 1/4 cups.
I always get the Better'n PB (I buy like 3 of them at once in case I run out before I can go again).
The little chicken wontons are good and so are the egg rolls (although DH doesnt like the egg rolls..they're weird too cook and I can never get them to come out crispy).
I also just got this red pepper spread (with eggplant and garlic). I put it on my sandwichs...soo good!!

Re: TRADER JOES
i havent tried their frying cheese yet.
i aftually fry gouda. it comes out better when u use a griddler instead of a pan.. but u cut them into thick deli slices and throw them on the pan/ griddler.. u dont need to add oil cuz the cheese is soo fatty i liek it a lil crispy. house smells like feet but it tastes great!
my friend said to BAKE brie with appricot spread! i had something like this at dinner saturday night. fkn amazing
hmmm what elseee... their sushi is decent lolbut so is BJs
applewood smoked bacon!!
ohhhhh BESTT recipe but i got sick of it after 1 day cuz its intense in flavour...
romaine lettuce -long leaf... tuna and wasabi mayo! u mix tuna and the wasabi mayo and u put it on the lettuce nad u roll them up!.. 3 of those and youre stufffed!!!

Re: TRADER JOES
the way u get the wontons and egg rolls cripsy is to completly defrost them and in a pan u put a lil oil and u let the oil burn then u toss the wontons in there. make sure u pat them dry b4 u put them in the oil cuz when they defrost they get watery..and we all know water + oil= no bueno

Re: TRADER JOES
I used to have to drive out to LI for Trader Joe's til the one on Metro opened a few years ago. I was there on opening day like a loser.
All of their frozen veggie stuff (burgers, corndogs, bacon, sausage) is way cheaper than the supermarket. Love that.
Their cheese selection is amazing. I love their Canadian, British and Irish cheeses.
Those boxes of heirloom tomatoes - OMG - my favorite.
Cereal! Puffins are sooooo cheap compared to their price in the supermarket.
Joe-Joes...their version of Oreos...so good. I always bring boxes to people's houses and they rave about them.
