Transferring Tape to DVD?

I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find an inexpensive place to transfer my wedding video to DVD. I had a student film it and didn't realize we don't even own a VCR anymore until I got the tape after our honeymoon. So I still haven't watched it and its killing me!!

Re: Transferring Tape to DVD?

Anyway you can get the studen to burn it to a DVD for you? If you transfer it from a tape, the quality wont be as good and its a lot more expensive than just burning it to a DVD from PC.

If not, I think a film developing place near me does it. Its called NY Filmworks. Im 90% sure but call ahead just to confirm.
