transporting luggage and other stuff for after wedding night

I have not seen this topic on here but have been wondering about it.

How did you get your luggage etc. to your wedding night hotel? Did you bring it with you to the wedding and keep it in the bridal suite? Did you arrange to drop it off before? I have this vision of me in my gown lugging 5 bags into a waiting town car.

Thanks for your input!

My hubby and his Dad checked everything in for us the morning of the wedding....men don't need hours to get ready, so it worked out perfect!

Edited to add - I only carried a small duffle with me to the wedding reception...had my emergency kit, toiletries and wallet - just in case.

Our parents brought our luggage to the hall and at the end of the night, they put it in our limo.

AL and his brother (BM) went by the hotel in the morning and dropped everything off before the ceremony.

DH stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding also so we brought them when he checked in.

DH and I both put our overnight bags in the limo, stored it in the bridal suite and brought it to the hotel with us after the reception. We both had only one small bag each (didn't leave for honeymoon the day).
