traveling with your rings
Are you one of the people who has a fake (CZ) set of rings for traveling or do you just wear your real rings?I wear my real set (though not in pools or whatnot) ... if God-forbid, something happens to it, it's insured so it's not the end of the world (though i'd obviously be upset)

Re: traveling with your rings
Both ering and wedding band are insured...which is practical and important but obvi I would be heartbroken if something happened to either. I left me ering at home for our HM and wore my wedding band.

Re: traveling with your rings
i wear my real sethonestly i would be more nervous leaving them at home then having them where i can see them. and mine fit well enough that i dont even take them off in the water, though i suppose if i was planning on swimming laps or something i would.
i also asked my dad (he's an immigration lawyer) if they can make you take your rings off at security at the airport (i was worried with the new machines) and he said he didnt think so, he's never heard of that happening

I wear my real set. When were on our HM I just locked them in the safe every time we were out doing water related things.

Re: traveling with your rings
I wear my real set. I wore them in the ocean, on the beach, in the pools, on the islands, on the ship. The only place I take them off is in the shower.

Re: traveling with your rings
I have just a plain gold band that I wear when traveling or even going out someplace I am not totally comfortable at. My rings are both loose and I do not want to take any chances.

Re: traveling with your rings
depends on where we are going.i took the entire set on our HM because australia is super safe and all the hotels we stayed at had safes.
however, when we went to the french riviera and cinque terre last fall, DH made me live my e-ring at home.

Re: traveling with your rings
I normally bring when traveling but left both ering and wedding band home when we went to Thailand. Instead I wore my plain band I used for our wedding.

I wear both my e-ring and wedding band in the pool, beach, ocean. The only time I didn't was when I went ziplining and waterfall rappelling.. I think

Re: traveling with your rings
I haven't traveled yet really...but I take them off only if I'm going to the beach. I swim in the pool with them on.
When we go on our honeymoon I'll probably leave my ering at home.

Re: traveling with your rings
It depends... I wore them both on our minimoon cruise and I wore my ering to Ireland over the summer... and when we travel within the country (Cali, Florida etc) I'll wear them but when we went to Thailand I left my ering home and just wore my wedding band. They are insured but I wasn't willing to risk it.

Re: traveling with your rings
I have a $6 Claire's ring that I took with me on the honeymoon. I also have my solid plain gold band that I got married with. My e-ring is insuranced but I didn't want to bring it out of the country. My diamond wedding band was my Great Grandmother's so I don't like to bring it away with me, insured or not, it's too sentimental to me and the family. But just weekend trips or even when we go to Florida next month I'll prob wear my plain band that I got married in and my real e-ring.

Re: traveling with your rings
I wear my real set all the time. They are insured. To be honest I am way more concerned wearing them on the train to work everyday then I am wearing them while on vacation. The only time I do not wear my rings is when I am in the shower.P.S. My rings are insured if God-forbid something happens. Of course I hope nothing happens but just in case.

Re: traveling with your rings
The best thing my DH ever did was make a replica of my ring. He used the replica to propose in Mexico and when we got home he gave me the real one. When we travel I leave my real one home under lock and key. I would never travel with the real one. I would die if I lost the stone.Welcome New Vendors
