Trip for our 1st Anniversary

So my hubby and I have decided to go on vacation for our first anniversary. We just decided to take a cruise from NYC to Bermuda and will be sailing the day before our anniversary.

I can't decide if we should still do gifts. I was thinking the vacation is a gift for each other. Maybe we should do some sentimental gifts. I think paper is the traditional gift for 1 year, right?

Any suggestions?

We're going to Disney as an early first anniversary present and the tixs will be the present to one another. That and I will give him the bill when I make him take me out to dinner to celebrate on our actual day
