I think whatever killed/hurt/maimed Lafayette was going to Sookie's house ( hence the sound effect ) but then Bill showed up so it left and didn't kill her too.

Hmm, that could be! I didn't notice the sound effect. My theory seems a little too easy. Like that's what they want us to believe. I'm sure there will be a big twist.

Ok after the scene with Mary Ann, they cut to Renee in his car and the song one the radio was something about a woman being a devil or somehting!!!!

i think she is some sort of demon - she cant be a vampire bc she has been out in the day. . . i dont really think she is a shape shifter bc i feel like they would have shown that already so i feel like it has to be something REALLY different

I am thinking. . . maybe Tara's demon is stuck in the pig??? There is some connection with her and the pig!!

ANd Eggs - Benedict? he has to end up being a traitor or is that too heavy handed???

And when you think about LaFeyette, that was the name of a french solider that befriended George Washington, to where the two saw each other as father and son. There is a lot of Revolutionary war hints here.

I think Bill fed on Lafayette. They showed the scene were lafayette was putting out the trash and someone or something came at him and then next scene Bill was all better and said he fed. I think he was desperate after the whole sun thing. I think this will cause big problems btwn Bill and Sookie next season.
I can't wait until it comes back. I didn't expect to get hooked!

that was dh's theory. Bc they show somebody going through the woods and we see Lafayette jump, then next scene we see somebody going through the woods again but this time we see it was Bill and he said he fed. I don't know though, i hope Bill didn't do that lol

Well he was in a desperate situation I will admit that, but another reason why I dont think it was bill, is bc Lafayette jumped the moment he saw the person, and I dont think he would do that if he saw Bill. But then again if he was still burned then maybe he wouldn't have known it was him PLUS if Bill did it then it would mean he was the one who put Lafayette in ANdy's car 2 weeks later, which again I don't see why Bill would do that. Lets see he did mess up during a desperate time and killed Lafayette, why would he put any evidence in a cop's car.

I agree. it was something that when he saw it he thought jumping ont eh garbage would save him - so something small. . .

somebody else mentioned it could've been an animal. Very good point and now that I think about it, definitely seems like it from the way he jumped on the garbage. If it was something else he might've ran instead lol, jumping on the garbage wouldn't help and he was kinda looking down and not at eye level.

OH WOW the pig, yes it very well could've been maryanne who did something.

I think you girls are right. It makes more sense when you think about it. I think they want to make it seem like it was Bill and leave us with that until season 2, but I don't think they would have Bill's character be the one who kills Lafayette, which they know audiences love him.
