trying to get the boards moving... how would you feel??

trying to get the boards moving... how would you feel??

we went to a bbq this past weekend at one of my DH's coworkers house. it was a big bbq with lots of family, friends, kids and other co-workers there.

the co-worker (a guy) who was throwing the party, took out a water gun and started squirting people and then another co-worker who he squirted (a woman) went over to him and pulled down his bathing suit, so his junk was fully exposed in front of his family and everyone else. these people are in their late 30's and both married.

i told DH if that had been him, i would have been really angry at that woman for doing that. seemed disrespectful and totally inappropriate. you don't expose someone else's husband.

how would you feel??

Wow, that's totally inappropriate but so is an adult bothering people with a water gun.

Ha, my thoughts exactly!!!

In all seriousness though, there's a definite difference between the two and exposing anyone else's private parts is pretty inexcusable IMO.

ETF poor punctuation

I'd be livid...that's awful. What did the guy do?

ETA...I just re-read your post...there were children there too and she did this???? What is wrong with people???? My mother would have FLIPPED if we saw that at a bbq when we were kids.

Whoa!! So inappropriate!! I would start to wonder if co-workers play like this out in public what they are doing in the workplace.

yeah i thought it was really inappropriate and definitely uncalled for since it's not even on the same level as squirting someone with a water gun.

the guy's wife and the woman's husband didnt even really see it happen cause they were on the other side of the yard tending to their kids in the pool. and the guy just pulled up his pants and sat down on a chair still holding his water gun.

ITA on the two being different...the punishment didn't match the crime but they were both definitely wrong!

i would be livid, to say the least! he shouldn't have been squirting people with a water gun, but her move was completely inappropriate. how did he react?

ummm couldnt she have just gotten him back by taking the water gun and squirting him back?

When did it become appropriate to pull someone's pants down in public?

The watergun thing doesn't bother me so much; it was fcukin a million degrees outside, who cares about a squirt of water.

But pants-ing someone? Someone who you work with and are not married to? Super uncool. And with kids around? No. Way. Not funny, not cute, not silly at all.

(And this is coming from someone who thinks farts are hilarious.)
