Nothing too expensive (i.e. no Hershey Hotel or Lodge) but nice.
I found this cool bed and breakfast called Westwynnd farms but they have a house cat and I'm pretty highly allergic. I called the owner and she said she tries to keep the cat out of the guest rooms but it has been in them on occassion.

we stayed at the hershey lodge and LOVED it!!!
very good food at the resturant and the rooms are very nice!! they also have an indoor pool and a hot tub!

Sorry to crash, but you should check out the After Eight B&B (aftereightbnb.com). The rooms were beautiful, prices were reasonable and breakfast was amazing. We didn't need to eat again until dinner time. They also had fresh baked goodies and beverages available all day.

We always stay at the Chocolatetown Motel when we go there- its very clean and the rates are good.
There is also a Hampton Inn very close to the Park that we stayed at- a little more $$ but it included breakfast

we went in 2004 and stayed at the days inn. it was about a mile or 2 down the road from Hershey.

Mmmmm I want to go to hershey so bad! And I want to go to teh spa at the Hotel and get the chocolate treatments. LOL.

i got a chocolate treatment on our HM and it was soooooo yummmmy and good! lol

Sorry, Lori-Ann, I don't have any personal knowledge of the hotels in Hershey, since we're within driving distance, but I googled for ya!!!!! Lots of ideas with pics!!!!!!! Mary MOB
That's where we stayed and we also loved it...close to Hershey and a reallynice hotel

I grew up there! There are numerous hotels in the area to accommodate not only the park and attractions but the Medical Center as well. Some of them are actually in Hummelstown which is literally 2 minutes away.
we went in 2004 and stayed at the days inn. it was about a mile or 2 down the road from Hershey.
We did the same thing, but went in 2002 or maybe it was 2003. I don't remember. They did offer a free shuttle to the park and it dropped you off right at the front gate. So convenient!
