What is your favorite Disney movie (live action or cartoon)?

I've been thinking of my answer since I thought of this question! It's a tough one for me.

Growing up - I would have to say I loved loved loved the live action movie Escape to Witch Mountain. It came out in 1975 and I remember seeing it at the Fantasia Theater in Lynbrook with my older sister and my dad. I was about to turn 7 and my mom was in the hospital just having had my younger sister.


Recently - I think my favorite is Monsters, Inc. I love that movie - I laugh, I cry - who doesn't love Sully?

Cinderella when I was growing up...I acutally saw it in the theater when it first came out. I know, I am OLD!

DUMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

without a doubt! love that movie watched it every day as a kid and new all the words! my mom for my shower even bought me a ceramic dumbo, and the movie on dvd!!

i also loved lady and tramp!!

eta: i didnt know we could add princess movies since that was the question yesterday. so i gotta add sleeping beauty, and the little mermaid. lion kind is on the top too

OMG - I couldn't watch Dumbo or Bambi or Old Yeller as a kid (ok - I'm lying - I still can't) - I cry like a nut!!! I can't take it!!!

I guess i always like sad movie that make me cry! lol i still do! i am a freak! lol i also love the part where he got drink and saw the dancing elephants!

growing up def sleeping beauty and the lion king..but also love fantasia,cinderella,robin hood,lady and the tramp..etc etc etc lol

mre recent is def up...looooooooooved that movie

I could go on and on... but I guess growing up it was Cinderella and Dumbo, oh and Sword in the Stone. I liked Alice in Wonderland a lot but mainly because I loved the ride at Disneyland (its not in Disney World).


As I got older I loved Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.

I really don't like the more recent animation movies, I hate the way they were drawn after Lion King, though I have to say I love Pixar. Toy Story is great and Cars!

All time favorite is The Little Mermaid!
Hmmm then Newsies, Pollyana, Hocus Pocus, Lilo & Stitch..
