twilight fans - breaking dawn *SPOILER ALERT*

did anyone else completely lose interest in this saga after reading breaking dawn?... i'm struggling to get through the last book because I hate it so much lol i can't seem to keep myself interested in it enough to turn those pages... jacob imprints on bella's baby!? bella and edward get married and she becomes a vampire... I wanted her to be created since book 1 but now i dunno, now that she is I can't stand her anymore and want them all to be killed off! (lol i'm sick i know)... and i used to love edward, now he's just so annoying and uninteresting... it's like the same boring crap regurgitated over and over again in each book... and it could have been summed up in less than 25000 pages lol every book is like a repeat.... i can't bring myself to finish this book.... ugh.... I just feel the story could have gone in so many more directions that could've been more interesting.... and I feel like the author threw a bunch of nonsense together just to tie up the loose ends and squeeze another book out.... boring!

sorry i know some ppl love it, it's just my opnion... (sorry my 'review' is so long)

eehh, I liked the series, but breaking dawn was too long and drawn out!!!

I wanted her to end up w/ Jacob.

Renesme was just WEIRD. Not just the name, but like a creepy little child...doing back flips and eating raw meat W T F??

By the end of the book, I was like like, ok, whatever. I didn't crave more.

I'm holding out for Midnight Sun to be completed.

It definitely was a different direction, but it took me longer to finish it b/c I knew it was the last one and I didn't want the story to end!

I have yet to see the movie Twilight though...does it do the book justice?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo dont say that Besides Twilight BD was my favorite. Yeah the whole imprinting thing is kind of scary but it is fiction and they want everyone to live happily ever after. You didnt find the arguments b/w Jacob and Rosalie hillarious.

Finish the book. What part are you up to?

no the movie ****** in my opinion... i mean it's worth seeing if you're into the book... but the book is wayyy better (as it always goes)

and yes i totally agree.... book 4 is toooo long drawn out and toooo boring.... renesme, w t f is that about?? lol creepy, but that's cool because it's a book about vampires so should be creepy lol but it's just such a stupid concept.... i did want bella to get with jacob too... at first i preferred edward, but as jacob became more involved in the story i preferred him..... edward just got so boring, uninteresting and obnoxious as a character to me.... i just feel like the conflict is always the same... they're always battling the same villains, either it's james' coven or the vulturi... and the fight scenes are just so boring too.... the story doesn't move, it's too stagnant... the characters don't grow, they're always facing the same stupid problems lol i thought bella turning into a vampire could've been written better too

lol i know i'm in the minority here, i guess i was just venting because I expected what wasn't there in the storyline lol.... i really liked book 1 and 2... i felt like book 3 was a little lacking but book 4 completely dropped the ball for me lol.... sorry, i don't mean to be a grump about it lol just expressing my opinions

i didn't mind BD. Renesmee was OK, i'm glad Bella become a vampire. what i was disappointed in.......well, since you're not finished i won't say. all i'll say is i found the end to be rather anti-climatic. it could have been great, and should have been, but instead it was eh.

your definitley not in the minority about BD. Some of the ppl I know loved it, some hated it. Some were just ok w/ it.

youre not alone! i totally LOVED BD. its my 2nd fav of the series. (of course Twilight is my first).

I loved Emmett making jokes about Edward and Bella not knocking down a few houses. I dreaded but then adored Jacob's point of view.

I did find the whole birthing section graphic and creepy...theres all these bones breaking and edward has to claw the baby out but it was totally necessary and made sense.

Nessie is cute! and good Jacob can have her. I was so relieved that he finally got over Bella

I have to be honest - I was a fan of the movie, definitely. Obviously I couldn't have loved it THAT much since i only saw it once, but still - i was a fan!! I ran out and began to read the book series asap. I got only halfway thru the FIRST one and have already lost interest. What the heck??? How is that possible?? I just can't bring myself to sit down and read more. Maybe it has nothing to do with the story itself, but more so due to the fact that there's just been a lot on my mind lately. Who knows. Or maybe it's because I've already seen the movie and know what's going to happen, and that always makes a book less interesting. I don't know. It's funny because I can see a movie multiple times, no problem. But a book can only be read ONCE.

I totally agree with you - Breaking Dawn ruined the entire series for me. It just was so long and so drawn out that I couldn't stand it anymore. The plot seemed contrived - kind of like Stephanie Meyer threw any old garbage together to create a book that would make tons of money. Half the time it didn't even make any sense or caused me to care even less. Edward was no longer fascinating but boring, Bella just started to annoy me with her dependency, and their child is straight up creepy.

I still maintain that Twilight was the best of the series with New Moon coming in as second best. Bella's pain was just so raw and real - it was something we all could relate to.

I actually liked the whole series. Even the 2nd book which people don't really seem to like.

Ok so I LOVED Twilight and hated New Moon b/c it was all about Jacob and the damn hole in Bella and I am completely obsessed with Edward. Eclipse was ok and Breaking Dawn was awful at first, I almost stopped reading when it switched to Jacobs point of view, and I totally thought the name 'Reneesmee' was RIDICULOUS. I literally laughed out loud and was like, 'CMON! RENEESMEE!!!!!!!!!' However I liked the end of the book a lot more so keep on reading. I do like the nickname Nessie now and the imprinting thing gets less weird as you read it. I miss the series now that I've read the whole thing.

I HATED Breaking Dawn. IMO it was hands down the worst book in the series. Too wordy, not enough action, Bella was a little b!tch, Edward just did nothing for me, I could go on forever. If I were to ever read all the books again, I would definately omit BD.

I'm having difficulty getting through BD too. I read Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse in 2.5 weeks. I've been on BD 2.5 months.....
