I haven't been on in a while (who knows what I have been doing lol) so I don't know if this has been discussed...let me know if it has and is old news....
but is anyone as obsessed with the twilight series as I am? I am not finished with all four books and am very sad that it's over! I saw the movie 2 times. I am like a hysterical teenager! I want there to be more!

I just started reading it last month and I'm almost done with breaking dawn and so bummed it'll be over! I don't want to see the movie bc i haven't heard such great things, I don't want to ruin my twilight experience.
I think there was a lot of twilight discussions on the boards but I started reading after that and missed the bandwagon.

I thought the movie was very good! Mind you nowhere close to the book but I thought it was like the harry potter movies...still entertaining but never as good as the book! I saw it 2 times! lol I thought they captured it well. it certainly didn't ruin anything. I was happy with breaking dawn. My biggest fear was being sad how it ended but I wasn't. I liked what they did with the book. My favorite was eclipse though...i think breaking dawn will make the best movie. I now want to read the one on stephanie myers site which is twilight through edwards eyes...i do hope she publishes it!

I am on page 100 or so of breaking dawn and it just went from a CRAZY important part to a new section, new narrator - and I am like WHAT!!!!! Go back to the old story line, go back!!!
I love the series. Can't wait for the version of twilight as told from edward's point of view to come out! And I am going to read some of meyer's other books - such as the host. looks great. she is a great writer - when you can't stop thinking about the characters and think LIKE them, that's a great book!!!

So maybe I will see the movie. I should form my own opinions anyway. The hardest part will be convincing DH to go with me. Someone recently told me to read the book you're talking about and I couldn't find it on b&n.com. I guess because it's not published. It all makes sense now. I ordered the host instead so I'll be starting that next

Yes, it really threw me off for the first chapter but after I finished jacob's book I really liked how it was done.

Yes, it really threw me off for the first chapter but after I finished jacob's book I really liked how it was done.
Does it intermingle with Bella's story or do I have to wait another 100 pages to get back to Bella??? I want to know what happened!!!!!

no, it continues the story. I was pissed because I thought I was reading the whole story over again but it's just a continuation. I have it with me I can't wait until lunch, that's when I get my read on.
i am completely obsessed with this book series! I read all 4 books in 5 days. I couldn't put them down. I have also reread the first 3 books at least 3 times so far and i only first read them a month ago!! i lent out the 4th book and i'm dying to get it back to read it again.
i keep asking my husband to be more like edward. he originally wanted to read the books, but after seeing me decided against it. he hates when i talk about twilight! i can't help it though!!
