twitter...

Im on it now because all the people from DHs band decided to sign up. So Im on there just for them. Is there a way to link it to facebook? And can you comment on peoples status?

I dont get it....

It's basically just a status update so you can see what people are doing, and vice versa, every moment they update something.

A friend of mine who is very into the media and conspiracy stuff lol told me that it may very well wind up getting rid of the media.

Basically, there are different parts to twitter. You can see what part of the country is updating the most twitters at any moment. So lets say something like 9-11 were to happen again. If you viewed that twitter site, you would see there was something big going on b/c so many people would be posting stuff about the situation right then and there on the scene before the news reporters got there. It may even be a way for celebrities to clear up rumors before we even read the magazines/papers!

I am obsessed right now with finding Celebrities lol So far, I am following MC Hammer, Ryan Seacrest, Chris Cornell, Lady GAGA, Asthon Kuther (I think), Spencer Pratt...and maybe some other stupid people lol

You can '@' a person if you want to respond to what their status says.

You should be able to just click on their name, or click on their post and it will have a little thing next to it that says 'respond' :)

I also don't think it can link to facebook. you mean, you want to add all of your friends or something???

I am on it - I use it to say what I am doing re: my job search -- hoping that people following me will remember me when they hear of a job opening ... i also put the link in my linkedin status upate section, and one person (out of my 250 connections ) is now following me. a few people here are following me as well! i think it's fun and it doesn't take much time at all.

We use it at work (well our marketers do) but I don't have access, yet I have an event on social media I don't use it personally.

now if somebody is searching for you all they have to do is put in your full name? or do they have to know the sn you pick? im gonna guess the name bc how would ppl find others so easily then, you'd have to guess sn's
