Re: Follow-up after interview advice needed (got kinda long)
if you dont get this job, i would just take it that it wasnt meant to be! if you think you will be a lot happier with just a part time job aim for that and when your certification transfers see how you feel! you might decide you like working and want somethng full time!!
i wish i could not work but some how still make money!! hmm we need to invent a way! HAHA

Have you considered following up with the company that interviewed you? I know its not 100% professional that they did not call you but they may be busy. At least this way you know one way or another.

Meh. It stinks that they never got back to you - rude and unprofessional of them - but IMO, I wouldn't want to work in a place that operates in that way anyway. Let's keep looking!

It is a tough situation. I'd probably send the person you've dealt with there a note just saying that you enjoyed meeting with him/her and to contact you if they have any further questions/require any additional information.
That way it's just a gentle reminder, in case they haven't attempted to follow up with you. But it also lets them know that you're not ignoring them, in case they did send you a letter with their decision, but it was misdirected or lost in the mail.
I always hate not knowing, so I'd want to know for certain what happened.
Good luck!

i'm with what marissa and megan said... i'm sorry they haven't gotten back to you in such a long time! i guess my opinion is a combination of their two answers.
a gently reminder could help you answer the looming question mark, but also, maybe you are more professional than this company - i'm not sure i'd want to work in a place that forgets things such as getting back to an interviewee in a timely fashion. that's SO frustrating!!
it's very frustrating to just wait and wait! enjoy what you've got going on right now, keep your feelers out and stay positive!
