ty etiquette question
A family friend came to the wedding and forgot the card. He told his sister (who told my mom who told me) that he mailed a card and check out about 4 months later. We never got anything. We sent him a thank you saying thanks for coming etc but obviously mentioned nothing of the gift. A week after sending the TY, we get a card with a check!! Woohoo!!Now do I send him another thank you? I think I should. And if so, should I send him the same thank you card I used before or should I use my personal stationary?
Thanks!

I agree. If you see them in person then you can thank them. Or even give him a call and thank him.

Re: ty etiquette question
I'd probably send another TY. I'd probably feel like 'I should' too and it only takes a second.

Re: ty etiquette question
I wouldn't send another card but I'd probably give them a call and leave a thank you message if they didn't answer

Re: ty etiquette question
I wouldn't send another one.. it took him to get a TY as a reminder.you sent him one, thats all you needed to do.

Re: ty etiquette question
I probably would have sent another one in that case...and at least acknowledged the gift this time.

I agree- just so he knows you got and appreciate the gift.

Re: ty etiquette question
I agree with some of the other girls, I wouldn't send a thank you because maybe he would feel like you sent the thank you as a reminder and now here's the real thank you. I would just pick up the phone and let him know that you got the card and it was very thoughtful of him and thank him.Welcome New Vendors
