TY photo...HELP! EDITED with PICS

I am still trying to decide on a TY wallet size photo. I was going to choose something somewhat traditional (closeup with us both looking at the camera), but I showed it to my SIL and she didn't love it and to be honest neither did I. She suggested one of my beautiful black and whites. In most of those we aren't looking at the camera or the pic is horizontal. I've really only seen vertical wallets. Is it weird to do one horizontal, in B&W and without us looking at the camera????
Please post your wallet if it was untraditional!

Here are a couple of the pics I am thinking of.
The first is the 'Traditional' one but the one I would use has been touched up around my eyes because they look really dark in the proof. The other 2 are the 'untraditional' ones I am thinking of. There is a 3rd one that is B& W horizontal pic where my DH is kissing me on the cheek as I smile and look out the window of the ballroom at the Carlyle but I don't have it scanned unfortunately.

I didn't do the wallet shots, but I would not mind getting one that is horizontal. I think you should try it if that is your favorite picture!

I agree, go with what you like best!
Ours was horizontal- the photographers had actually given us 75 thank yous with our package and they gave us the cards before we ordered the pics and they were vertical. When we decided on the pic we wanted, we asked if they could crop it b/c we thought it had to be vertical but, since we were lazy and hadn't written any out yet, they let us give them back the verticals and gave us horizontal cards instead. And this is the pic we used - not looking at the camera either!

We used horizontal for ours.

I think if it is picture that you both like - then that is all that matters. You can post some that you are tossed up about and we can help you decide.

I am going through the same thing now and have seen more and more TY's where the coupleis not looking at the camera. Go for it! The horizontal shouldn't be an issue either...you can still fit it in your wallet :)

OUrs are horizontal too but don't have a pic to share! Do whatever you think looks best, I like the nontraditional thank yous!

We chose a black and white shot - I thought my parents' crew was going to be upset that it wasn't in color- But everyone loved it
I think that last B&W shot is beautiful!

I love the 3rd picture. We went with a non traditional thank you card (we ordered them throught shutterfly) and the wallet size photo was more traditional. I think you should go with what you want.
