UGGGGHHH FedEx!!!!

I am flipping my shiz right now. I was expecting an EXTREMELY important, time sensitive FedEx delivery this morning, which was supposedly sent priority overnight (which means 10:30 AM or earlier delivery).

Basically, I needed this package hand delivered to me by DH this afternoon as soon as he got home so I could go take care of what the package contained at a place that closes at 3:30, otherwise before noon tomorrow, and that's all the time I had to do it because I only had 48 hours.

Well, it never came!!!!!! I am freaking out right now. DH checked the mailboxes for both us and our landlords, both stoops, and asked our landlords themselves if they took a package in and they said no, however they saw a FedEx truck earlier in the day at another house. So now I'm wondering if the driver brought it to the wrong house!!!!

I called the person who sent the package, who pacified me and said I won't be held responsible if it was delivered incorrectly, and is sending me the tracking, which I haven't received yet, but I'm still totally freaking out. It can never be easy!!!!! And I can't make any of my 'big changes' or 'announcements' until I have the go ahead based on the results of this package!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH. I never had a UPS or FedEx delivery to the apartment, I always had things ship to my mom's house, and it seems like I had good reason to! ROAR.

That stinks!

My DH works for FedEx.....as soon as you get the tracking information, you can track it and see where it was delivered to. I know that doesn't do much since you need it like NOW.....

Maybe I can ask my DH to help if you got the tracking number.

Thanks, but I still didn't get the tracking emailed to me. The person I spoke to I don't think is the one that put it in the mail, so he has to get all the info and it's just so frustrating and now I'm getting sick over it. I should have just said forget sending it, I'll come in and pick it up!!!

I finally got the tracking, and it was sent UPS, not FedEx, and it was sent Next Day Saver, not Priority, which means that it can arrive any time before 6:00! And it's still not there yet! Which thank god the place I need to go to is open Saturday morning even though it's a holiday weekend, otherwise I'd really be up the creek! That really doesn't leave me with a lot of wiggle room, ahhhhh my heart is racing right now I'm so worked up. Fingers crossed it comes soon, because it said out for delivery as of 12:30 AM, so I don't see what the hold up is.

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!

It stayed on the truck all night and was rerouted back to the Farmingdale hub as of like 10:00!!! I won't get it until Tuesday now

It's not my fault, and I can't be held responsible for it, and was told that...but I still can't help but worry about the repercussions. I swear it's never easy.
