ugh my blood is boiling over ARod right now....

I know most of you hardly care but I just HAVE to vent. DH doesn't get as mad about these things as I do. He's very logical and matter of fact. I'm, well, as they say, emotional.

How can he FINALLY get under my skin- after all these years I wouldn't let him in - I never wanted to accept him as a Yankee and FINALLY the fans embrace him and THIS is what he does?!

ITA with everything you said tara!! i was soooo pissed and when he did it - and why is even worse! did you hear scott boras' interview on the michael kay show today? i didn't but DH did and he was sooooo pizzed!

but i do feel bad b/c DH got me a t-shirt with a-rod's name and number on the back... that is so going in the trash!

good riddance to bad rubbish!

on a side note i am so happy that the yanks made the offer to girardi! i really think he has an energy that mattingly doesn't, as much as he is beloved by yankee fans... i just hope they can get the rest of their acts (posada and mariano) together!

I'm happy to say, I never really took a liking to him, and now I'm glad. First of all, he's all about the money, everyone knows that. Second, I am actually happy to see him go! That money can be used for a lot of better things other than a big name player like him that was absolutely useless during the last couple of playoffs! Yes, hes a great player and hits lots of homeruns, but none of it matters if you can't do s**t in the playoffs.

Absolutely agree with you on Girardi- I'm so excited about him!!! But OMG...if we can't get Mo and Posada back...

And what I can't get over is, in this last season, ARod was finally accepted as one of the guys in the clubhouse- at least it seemed that way. He finally seemed like one of them.
