Ughhh Annoying - Need gift help
During my wedding planning I was really undecided as to whether or not I should invite my college roommate to my wedding. She invited me to her wedding in 2005, but I couldnt go (it was in Delaware)...and we have barely talked since then. I have actually only seen her 1 time in 6 years and it was because I stopped by on my way to another friends and like I said we barely talk. She is a sweet sweet girl though.
Anway, a few months ago she emails me to say hello and I told her I was engaged and getting married! She seemed excited and she told me she had news too...she was pregnant!
Then in July I get an email asking how the wedding was and she asked for my address. I was like wow, she is going to send a wedding card...may be even a gift!
GUESS WHAT I GOT INSTEAD....an invite to her baby shower! Wow I am shocked. I actually cant go and doubt I would anyway because its 3 hours away. I find it a bit rude that I was invited....not because its far but because we never talk. I will probably send a gift, but how much should I spend. Me and DH are thinking like $30 but is that too cheap?
