ughhhhh

I hate days like this. When it's cr@appy out and my husband has a problem getting to work.

(He works in NJ and commutes 4 days a week from queens)

I get bombarded with text messages venting how much he HATES living in queens.

He does not do well in traffic...

without traffic, it's about an hour.

with traffic, it could be 2-2 1/2 hours.

I offered to move to NJ even though I would HAAAAAAATE to leave my neighborhood & family.

But now... I've committed to graduate school.. it'd be unfair for me to give that up to move to NJ

I got stuck in traffic this morning, sat for 40 minutes in the HOV lane on the LIE because a bus broke down way down near the tunnel, while we were all the way in the back.
At least I remembered to tinkle before I left home.

I gave up getting upset at traffic a long time ago. Nothing that I can do about it except sit back and close my eyes until we move again.

Oh Susi, I think I saw your bus!!! That was CRAZY this morning. It actually wasn't a bus that broke down, it was an SUV. A huge tow truck went in on the opposite lane and was trying to jump start the SUV when we passed by, so I imagine it must have taken a while for that big ol tow truck to be called and get there. There was an express bus immediately behind it and a couple of cars behind that bus, then like a whole slew of express buses.

Our bus took the local lane which was horrid. The express lane started moving before we even got to the tolls on the local lane!
