...and someone had a dog in there! What bothered me the most was that they were pushing it around in a doll sized baby carriage! I think the little tote bags are much more in style

Re: Uh oh...i was just at the supermarket
I was in Bloomies last week and someone was carrying their dog through the store... their 20-30 lb dog!!!! I'm assuming someone told her that the dog could come into the store so long as she didn't let him/her on the floor ... I KNOW her hands must have been TIRED!!!!

Have you guys SEEN the 'pet strollers?' Hilarious. they are f*cking hilarious. And they are all over Boston
OMG that is so hilarious! I love that not only do they have a stroller for any size dog, but they have an assortment to choose from! I would love to see someone running down the block using a jogging pet stroller for a 200 lb. mastiff.

Re: Uh oh...i was just at the supermarket
A few weeks ago someone had their dog with them. I thought it was disgusting for it to be in a food store. The next time I saw it though, the woman was waiting by the check-outs so maybe she was told she couldn't be near the food anymore. Ew!

NO! OMG hubs and i were in the liquor store a few weeks ago and this lady and a tiny dog come in. she sets him down and starts to walk about he stays put and she STEPS ON HIM So she starts walking again and he's having none of it so she's DRAGGING him through the store!! It was so stupid and unnecessary and I felt bad for that little dog. Dogs don't belong in stores unless they're guide dogs. This treating animals like humans and accessories thing has gotten utterly ridiculous, IMO.

Re: Uh oh...i was just at the supermarket
The animal strollers are hysterical, and completely absurd! Dogs are meant to walk, that is why thy have 4 legs!!! I bring my dog with me to a lot of stores (I only pick her up if htey make me and she is only in a carrier on the plane/train and other places where it is required), but never a food store, that is gross!
She is home a lot during the week, so if I am running errands on the weekend I take her along, but she is only 8 lbs and doesn't bark (weird, I know), so I never really see it as a big deal.
