SO I want to go and change my name at the Social Security office. HOwever I was wondering if that would affect my unemplyment check which currently gets direct depositited into my personal account. I'm going to change my name at my bank also, but not sure how everything will affect unemplyment. Do any of you ladies know if this will affect anything?????
Also....what is the best time to go to the Social Security office in Jamaica????? I need to go and have everything but I just haven't goine because I don't know how it might affect my unemplyment to change my name now.

You will be fine. When you change your name on your bank account, just tell them to keep allowing checks in your maiden to clear through.

Yes, just don't let UE know you changed your name. They tried to give me a hard time about it. Apparently it's a whole PROCESS to change your name. They are sooo annoying!
