UPDATE: My really WEIRD and unbelievable story! * Animal lovers*
Hey ladies! I know its been a while since I posted on the message boards but I am still around and mostly lurking....
I wanted to share with you my really weird story with HOPEFULLY a happy ending...
Two weeks ago after work, we saw a small kitten in my schools yard. We tried to catch the kitten but she wouldnt budge. Fast forward to last week- she was by my DH's car and he also tried to catch her with no luck. Today, we were pulling out of the parking lot and I heard really soft meows, I looked around and nothing.... So we are driving back from the Bronx and we get caught up into traffic by the Throgs Neck Bridge (a good 20 minutes).... I had the windows down and all of a sudden I heard louder meows... So I turned down the music and sure eough DH also heard. We pulled over in the divider and we checked underneath his car.... the poor kitten was stuck on top of his axle by his wheel!!! (he has a jeep
) We pulled her out and THANKFULLY she was safe and even purring!!! We took her straight to the vet to make sure shes Ok and will hopefully keep her if she is well (we have another cat and 2 dogs at home so we had to make sure she was healthy for the others!)
Im still in shock that she was there for so long and thankful that nothing happened to her!!!
Thanks ladies for letting me share my story... I will find out in about an hour how she is...![]()
Update 1- Called the doc- told me she tested negative for FIV and leukemia- shes staying overnight to try and get s stool sample and then shes ours!
He couldnt believe how calm and friendly she was especially after what she experienced!!! Thank you ladies !
