UPDATE: Need some prayers for our doggie

our 15 year old yorkie has been sick on & off the last few months. he seemed like he did a 360 and was doing better. however, this week he hasn't had an appetite & very hyper (running in circles). honestly, he doesn't even seem like a real dog anymore ... doesn't bark anymore, no more kisses, doesn't wag his tail personally, i think its time but DH is having a hard time accepting it. he had him 15 yrs & I just lived him for the past 2 years.

i am so heartbroken but i am just sooo worried about DH. he has been with him through some tough times.

he has a 1:00 appointment with the vet tomorrow. so we will see what happens.

please keep Max in your prayers. I just really hope he is not suffering Hope DH could get through this.

Well, they took a blood test but won't know the results until tomorrow. they gave some meds for the spinning and IV because he is dehydrated. he didn't mention anything about putting him to sleep. i guess they can't until they know the results..

i was a mess today. every so often i would start crying at my desk

Oh honey I am so sorry. I hope the dog is not suffering and that DH can accept whatever the vet says. Is DH going to the vet or are you? Are you going together? It might help for him to hear what the doc says.

thank you. he is going alone. unfortunately, i can't take any more time off.

i really hope DH is strong. if not i will have to be for him..

oh no! LOTS of prayers especially for dh... animals become such a huge part of our life that they are like family - so i can understand.. please keep us updated!
