UPDATE on my Pregnant friend who FELL yesterday....

So I was supposed to be leaving in 1/2 hour to go to my good friend's baby shower, when her husband just called to tell me it's off b/c she slipped on the ice and is now in the hospital. He said they checked the baby and everything seems okay but I'm just so sad that this happened. She's due in 2 weeks.

Hey ladies...she's still in the hospital bc she is so close to her due date, the doctors are playing it safe.

I feel so bad for her, she really is one of the best people I know and she would have loved her surprise shower. Her husband said her mom lost out on all the food, drinks, $ for the hall, everything. So sad but happy that her and the baby are okay.

That really stinks about the $$ - Im sure it was not cheap either. Thankfully the baby is still ok - that is what's most important. I am very happy to hear she is doing ok & that the doctors are wacthing her carefully. Please keep us updated in her progress & prayers will be continued to be said.

That would be awesome but we all work super weird hours this week being that most of us teach dance and we have a 2 week vacation coming up next week. I'm going to talk to her husband about it. Thanks for the IDEA!!!!!

I was totally going to say that too - to surprise her in the hospital - or it it's too much to have everyone there at once - schedule people to keep coming one at a time so it's like a constant stream of vistors

I am so sorry that this happened! Thank Goodness that your friend and the Baby is going to alright! Too bad her mom lost out on all the food, drinks, and hall..

Does she have to stay in the hospital until the baby is born?

I was born early and missed my baby shower. They replanned it for a friends house and my mom went right from the hospital (she was there a week) to the baby shower. It might have been backwards and I might have been there, but she had her shower. And all the gifts were pink.

I would try to plan something for her for after the baby is born instead. She will still appreciate it.

Hope she and the baby are ok.
