all of a sudden she tells me : gab i cant see from my left eye, she said it was all dark- couldnt see anything, she got dizzy, thought she was going to faint- this lasted for like 20-30 minutes and then her fingers (left hand) started getting all numb - she had no feelings in it. it went away but i got all nervous & im telling her to make an appt at the drs office. anyone ever heard of anything like this?
eta: you dont think 25 is too young to have a stroke? we're leaving right now for the er - cornell - please have her in your thoughts
eta: 10:27pm - i just got back from the ER at Cornell I was there for 4 hrs, 3 doctors checked her out - all told her that she's too young for it to be a stroke, think its some kind of migraine (aurora or something like that sp?) but they wouldnt release her until the a higher doctor approved her release. her bf came so i left. shes supposed to call me as soon as she finds out from them.

She needs to go to a doctor and get her blood sugar and blood pressure checked. ASAP.
This sometimes happens to a friend of mine who is diabetic.

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like symptoms for a stroke. I'd tell her to get to the ER ASAP to be on the safe side.
She's in my prayers that it turns out to be nothing serious.

OMG Gabbie, thats not good. It probably has something to do with her neurology ..aka her brain function.... she should go home right away and go to the doctor or ER, even if it did pass!! That is def not something to let pass by !!

First thing that crossed my mind as I read the OP is that your friend was having a (mild) stroke.
Please tell her to go to the dr. right away - even if it wasn't a stroke, she should be checked out!

I vote for anxiety attack. I used to get them really bad and I used to go blind for 15-20 seconds. Scary as sh!t but harmless. She should def get it checked out though.

OMG. My good friend had a similar situation a few years back and it turns out she has MS. She is doing very good now and is healthy, but you friend def. needs to get checked out. I'm hoping everything turns out okay.
