Upset--Etsy seller
So last month I had placed an order on Etsy from SoleilCreations. It was a Dora tutu for my daughter's bday party which is this Saturday. Last week I contacted her via Etsy to see when I would receive my package and how important it was to me to receive it before Friday. She guaranteed I would receive it by the 12th. I just got the tracking info and this package was sent out yesterday by USPS. There's no way I'm going to receive this package by tomorrow since it's coming from Texas. What good is this outfit after her birthday? Can I make a complaint about her? Can I return the tutu back and get my money?Worst part is that now I have to go out and buy her a dress.
Some people just suck. How do you run a business like this?
UPDATE:
So I just heard from her and she said not to go by the tracking info and that I should receive it by tomorrow.
I really do hope so because I do love it very much and I know my little one would love it as well.

ugh that SUCKS!!! I would message her and let her know that you have the tracking info and it doesn't seem like it's going to make it by tomorrow. It's already past her guarantee receive by date of the 12th. Let her know that it is no good to you because it was for your daughter's birthday party and you'd like your money back.I would give her the chance to give you the money because most sellers would try their best to avoid bad feedback.

i still would leave the feedback but at least giving you a refund won't make her look AS bad KWIM? So she might do it hoping you don't leave feedback.

Sorry this is causing you stress, as I can imagine you have other items to do before her party.If she sent it USPS Priority, it is 2-3 days delivery. So you could have it today, tomorrow. Sometimes my mom sends stuff from CA and they get here in 2 days with priority because they get sent out via plane right away.
It does suck that it took this long.

if you dont get it by tomorrow night i would complain. go to the product page and hit feedback and be honest with your feedback. i've complained about esty sellers who didnt come through before. They will usually come back with a 'Kiss and Make-up' option where they get to say their piece and you have the option to delete your negative review.
