Using Frequest Flyer Miles - ARGHHHH

WOW - they do not make it easy!

We are trying to use miles for our annivesary trip to Antigua and its been a 4 day fiasco! First we transferred points from AMEX to Delta, went to book and the flight we wanted was no longer available! So after a big discussion we decided to swith the dates of our hotel and now ready to book and what do you know the website gets an error message when you try and book.

We call up to do it, wait on hold for ever only to be told their systems are down! So they put the flight on hold for us and said to keep trying so we keep going online and calling and their systems are STILL DOWN! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? WHAT THE HECK! I am so angry and better not lose this opportunity to get these flights free!

This is not the first time I had a prob with Delta, overall it is just such a hassle to book thngs these days!!!

sometimes using mile is such a pain in a s s. I have a ton of miles for continental. I can basically only fly during the week.

This is why I love jetblue. I've had so many free flights on them and never had an issue. Hope you get it resolved quickly!

the only thing that was annoying with jet blue is that you could only fly on certain days depending on where you are going.... which is like, okay maybe we didnt book our hotel for those days, ya know?!

but the process of booking with our miles went fine!!
