So I want to take DH somewhere for after x-mas through New years. . maybe 3-5 days. . he is graduating with his masters and for b-day and xmas - so any suggestions for somewhere affordable and fun. . only thing I know he doesnt want is Puerto Rico, Vegas, or a cruise. .
or if you know good sites where you can search for vacations without a destination in mind?

Disney World
Florida - like Key West, Islandmorada, Miami
or if cold.. maybe Quebec or Boston or Newport
you could go to a winter resort, like in VT somewhere

Well costa rica is great..I would recommend it. Also DR is great for a short trip as well. Def search for vacation spots on tripadvisor. That is the place I search for all my reviews of hotels and destinations.

if you are looking for affordable you might want to go somewhere you can drive to......its a peak travel time with the airlines so airfare might be expensive.

mexico has great deals right now.. Delta has a payment plan for trips! Lots going on right now.. We are taking a trip for xmas for 4 days.. then Im off to NY for the NYE! The whole vacation package was cheap! Less then 1500
