valenswines day???

has anyone ever heard of this ??

My mom called me this morning telling me that she is going to celebrate 'valenswines day'. I thought it sounded a bit odd, I googled it and I saw that it is a holiday before Valentine's Day where a man or 'swine/pig' gives his girlfriend or mistress on the side, besides his wife a gift for valentines day.

Besides the obvioust fact that it's a disgusting holiday, my poor ol mom not knowing anything thought it was a day where the woman gives the guy a gift lol I told her she should hold off and give it to him tomorrow and not celebrate this valen'swines'day haha

I heard about it on the radio this morning otherwise I would have never have known about it!

wow never heard of it- its creepy that there is a name for it though- like enough pr*cks do this that it gets a name

I've heard of it. This is a big night for restaurants too! I heard on the radio a few weeks ago one place was having a valenswine's menu!

I never heard of this. Disgusting.....

But now that i think of it...how many times have I been out on a day other then 2/14 to save money with my bf???

Eww... i've NEVER heard of that! The funny thing is that my mom & dad always went out either the day before or after Valentines Day because it was usually too crowded at restaurants on the day of. Now i'm wondering what the waiters were thinking about them. lol. How horrible.
