Will be spending a few days there before we go on a cruise to Alaska. Anyone have any recommendations for hotels or things to do while we are there?

If you can, hop a ferry over to BC & go to Butchart Gardens - it's Fifty-five acres of stunning floral show gardens and a National Historic Site of Canada, is located near Victoria, British Columbia - a really MUST SEE - these gardens are beyond stunning....the pictures are beautiful - but when you're there in person...OH MY GOD.....
