Re: Vegas... need some fun ideas.
all the hotels have reasonable restaurantswe went to the circus circus once, great steaks and cheap and there is a nice diner/restaurant in there....
the shows are all reasonable and dont go to a place called zefarinos, in the venetian if you want to spend less, great food and service, owned by the Scotto bros but VERY expensive
I will think more and respond later if I remember what else we did!
EDITED TO ADD: the excalibur has a KNIGHT show/DINNER For about 40 bucks per person, maybe less, its fun

Re: Vegas... need some fun ideas.
I second the Sling Shot at the Stratosphere. It was one of the scariest rides I've ever been on, but WELL WORTH IT!!Also loved the NY NY rollercoaster!
We went to see the magician at Monte Carlo - it was a great show (what the heck is his name - I'm drawing a blank, but his poster is everywhere)
We also have gone to the impersonator show Legends, and it was good - it's at the Imperial I believe
And last year we went to see the dirty hypnotist - it was hysterical and I got hynotized!!!!

Re: Vegas... need some fun ideas.
If you can see Mystere at Treasure Island or O at Bellagio, they are great Cirque de Solei shows. Or another great show is Danny Gans (I think he's at the Mirage). There are so many great restaurants I can't even name specific ones. Make sure to go to the Forum Shops at Caesars if for nothing but to see the ceiling. You could take a gondola ride in the Venetian. A little corny but fun. I'm a big gambler so most of my fun is right in the casino!

OMG!! the sling shot!!!I'm all for gambling in LV...if you want low cost gambling...there is a casino next to denny's (sorry I can't remember the name...its a small one) and they had $.25 roulette!! there is a $1 min on each spin...but you are more liely to bet on a numbers and then win...I won like $100 waiting for my table at dennys!!

I recommend seeing a show. We LOVED the Blue Man Group. They perform at the Luxor hotel. You can take a drive through Red Rock Canyon...not too far. There are GREAT picture taking spots.

Re: Vegas... need some fun ideas.
If you can swung it, because it's not cheap, but it's totally worth it...visit the Grand Canyon. We did it via helicopter and it was $350/couple, but I think they do bus tours as well for cheaper. Amazing. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did but it really was breathtaking.Welcome New Vendors
