Veils - What did you do with it after the wedding?

Ladies,

I'm starting to think about getting my dress cleaned and preserved etc. What do you do with the veil? Does it also need to be cleaned and preserved like your wedding gown? If it's any consideration, I have seed pearls and crystals sewn to the edge of my veil - does that require special handling?

I cleaned and preserved it with my wedding dress.

mine was a loaner - my MIL made it for her daughters, so I gave it back after the wedding.

I am actually hoping to sell mine. It's two tiered w/ satin piping and pure white. I tried to sell it before but everyone who was interested had ivory dresses.

I would have loved to keep it out somewhere, but I put it in the box, along with my shawl and gown to be preserved. I was dissappointed to find my box didn't even have a plastic see-through side, so I can't even admire it!

YIKES! i haven't had my dress cleaned yet and its three years,...good thing no grass or wine stains. I have it in a box with my ring pillow

wow... I just realized I have no idea where mine is! Have to ask my mum about it... perhaps it is in the box with my preserved dress.

My brother's fiance` has asked me to be her Matron of Honor so I think at her bachlorette party I'll have her wear my veil. The tiara will be used by my daughter [if I have one] on her communion day. The dress can be cut down too.
