Velvet Brides??

ok when i got my paper proofs on sat.. i asked about the CD and he almost seemed like he wasnt going to give it to me! its in my contract! then he said ok we will give it to you when we finish your album

did any of you girls get the CD right away ? or did you have to wait also?

what? are you kidding? the proof CD was the first thing that I got! after a month I got the paper proofs. def put your foot down on this one.

Me too I got the cd's first, it was a DVD cd and it didnt work and they made me seperate cds. My paper proofs are ready for p up but I havent' gotten them yet. Def call him, hes easy to work w.

This is good to know! I still haven't received my proofs, but I will be sure to demand my cd of proofs! I have been waiting for it so I can do my review!!!

I got my CD first too. I was dying to see them before Christmas so DH called and asked if they could give us something, we got the CD first then went to pick up the actual paper proofs a few weeks later. When I was there though, one of the women that works there mentioned that the paper ones are color corrected and are a lot clearer then the CD. I put a picture I printed up from the CD next to one of the proofs and there was a difference.

They gave me the CD first, about 3 weeks after the wedding, it's the photo proofs that I had to wait a little longer for.

i think, because they had to mail everything to me in AZ anyway, i got all of my proofs and the CD of my proofs at the same time - 5 weeks after the wedding. most of the other girls on here got the CD within the first few weeks, but i think they just wanted to send me one package.

i'm positive you'll get the CD if you just ask.

I got my proof prints then asked about the DVD's and they had no problem sending everything to me here in FL. I had 2 extra made for the parents too. I waited about 2 months for everything but it was worth it.

I was dealing with Stephanie more than Bob. Don't be upset and I would def give them a call.

ETA: I sent my proofs in for my album in December and did not have to wait for the album to get done in order to get the DVD. I received the DVD beginning of January.

Hmmm I didn't know he could put the pics on his site. That would have been nice. Maybe you guys are the first set of brides to be on it.

Don't you guys worry I really hope that is the reason. I would just call to clarify. They are so nice there and could probably give you answers.

you might be right, Tricia. we were not given the option of a website, but i know some girls who got married in october/november were! i don't know if they got a CD too, but personally, i love having the CD! i just uploaded the entire thing to my flickr acct anyway

yea i think we were the first ones to have get our pictures on a website.. but it really has nothing to do with the DVD... we are supposed to get that!! and you cant do anything with the website proofs..you can copy them or anything.

they never called me yesterday... im gong to call again.. im so mad.

I am so sorry they are doing this to you. They should be able to give your DVD with no issues. I would give them a call again and maybe let them know that it is in your contract and you should not have to wait for the album to get done to receive it. I didn't have to wait or I would be waiting quite awhile. I requested and received my 2 DVDS the beginning of January.

Let us know what happens.

yea i called twice yesterday and they were supposed to get back to me ...but didnt.. im so frustrated.. its not right!
