Vermont Cabin Rentals?

Vermont Cabin Rentals?

Hi ladies! DH and I are trying to organize a big New Years ski trip to Vermont in Dec/Jan and are looking to rent a cabin/condo that sleeps at least 14-20 people. We have no idea where to start!

For those who have done this before, can you please suggest some rental sites (I've already checked vermontrentalproperties.com and the typical Google search sites). I should point out that NONE of us are big skiiers, but will probably want to do other activities like snowmobiling, tubing, etc. and a hottub and gameroom are a must!

I also don't know which area is better, Mt. Snow or Killington?

Thanks in advance!

My DH's company took them all to Mount Snow for a week for their annual sales conference.....They had a great time and the rates were reasonable from what the Marketing director told my DH!

ETA: I know they had a bunch of bars, they also went tubing, had ski lessons and a bunch of stuff. There were a few people that didn't ski at all and had a great time

You can look on Craig's list or online for people willing to rent cabins.
My hubby and I go to Mount Snow at least 8 times a year.
Killington is a larger mountain, but I think Mount Snow is better.
There is nightlife in both Killington and Mount Snow.
Mount Snow did a good job upkeeping their snow last year as they have new state of the art fan guns to make snow.
Killington is about an hour ride further north.

Is your group of skiiers advanced or beginners?

Can you tell I'm an obsessed snowboarder?

Thanks Sandy. I think there are a few of us who ski...me not being one of them. we're more of a party in the snow kinda crowd.

That sounds fun! I was looking into the same thing. Here is a wonderful website to use!

www.vrbo.com

It's vacation rentals by owner...great site!

I would go to Mount Snow then because the terrain is a little easier.

They have a great apres ski time where everyone parties. Go to Cuzzins on the mountain. Best chili fries EVER!
For night time, Deacon's Den is cool.

Thank you so much, GothBride! We're all a bunch of newbies at skiing and I honestly don't think we'll be doing much of that.....I think we're more the snowmobiling, sledding, and drinking kind of crowd!
