Very WEIRD question- when you clean the bathroom...

do you scrub the shower liner?

See, I never knew to do this til I met DH. Now I'm stuck with bathroom duties and I have to do this. HATE it.

Makes me want to run out and buy a new shower liner all the time.

Which leads me to my next question- how often do you change your shower liner?

SOME shower liners are actually washable which makes it so much easier. You cant dry them in a dryer, but you can throw them i the washing machine. Check to see if you can with yours (it'll be on a tag).

There is an easy solution to scrubbing it.
You can buy scrubbing bubbles and Clorox with Teflon and once you spray it, let it stay on for a little bit, about 2-3 miinutes. After that just wash it off with the shower and no scubbing ;)

ohhhh see I use scrubbing bubbles, then on top of that I spray it with the anti soap scum spray, then scrub- sooo annoying. Then I notice the side that faces out of the tub gets all gunky too!

Thanks Jenn- DUH why didn't I think of putting it in the friggin wash? Then again it's annoying having to put it up again!

when we lived in our old apartment they had the machine washable ones and even though its a pain to put it back up....its soooo much better than scrubbing it. I bet BB&B or Target would have them.

i let the 'scrub bubbles' sit on it for a few then it just rinses clean..

I put my shower liner in the washing machine. I probably should do it more often, but I pretty much just clean it when I notice it starting to look gross. And can I just add that I absolutely HATE cleaning the shower!!!!!

I change the liner whenever it starts to turn pink.
I definitely scrub the heII out of the shower, but I don't bother with the liner. It's in the garbage every few months anyway.

I usually buy shower liners at the dollar stores. This way I get about 3 of 4, and stock up. When I have to change them, I have them in the house. If I don't have any extra around, I do throw them in the washing machine. Not the dryer, though.
