How long did it take for everyone to receive their video? I'm told I will need to wait five to six months? That seems awfully long to wait!!
It will be 4 months in 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything...but I'm calling soon! Isn't it torture??
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I GOT THE NO FRILL VIDEO PACKAGE AND IT TOOK MAYBE 2-3 MONTHS. THEY DID THE BABY PICTURES IN THE BEGINNING AND A CINDERELLA ENDING. I DIDN'T GO FOR ALL THOSE SPECIAL EFFECTS AND STUFF. I KNOW THE VIDEO GUY TOLD ME THAT IF I HAD THE SPECIAL PACKAGE THAT I WOULD BE WAITING LONGER. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Our video was done within a month and a half, so I think it depends on how fast your videographer is with the editing process. We didn't get the most expensive or fanciest edit, but we have our baby pix and recap ending (which always makes me cry!). I would definitely call them to see what's up. The longest I've heard that it could take is 3 months.
We got out unedited video with our proofs one month after the wedding. Then I had to give them the music and pictures for the edited video, which is suppose to take 3 to 4 weeks.
