How long did it take for you to see your proofs?

did John call you or did you call him?

I am so exciting to see my proofs and dont know how much time I am supposed to wait until I call, I need to check my contract dont know if anything is on there.

you need to call him...I kept calling and got mine within 3 weeks...

just recently we went to proof our album and my sister used him and his video for her oct wedding...she got a camera edit...so she should jus get the tape...right...well my sister called for me to pick it up in March...he told us...'good thing she called...I always forget...'

...so lesson learned...call him!!

I called John tonight, he told me some of my pictures are in and look great. Still waiting on 30% to come in from a different lab

I just picked up my albums from John on Sunday. I gave him my proofs at the end of January.

I am very happy with the albums, especially the parents'.

I am a little disappointed in a few of the blow ups (8X10s) for my album. Some of the shots looked a little grainy, but he was far away when he took those shots so I guess I really can't expect those few to be perfect.

I hadn't seen the actual type of album I'd be getting before Sunday and I am very happy with the color (ivory) and the quality.

The only thing I wished I had asked for was to have our names engraved on the front of the parent albums, as it is on our album.

I called this morning and left message, hopefully he will get back to me tonight.

shellmarie, how long to get your proofs?

John called me back last night and left a message saying most of proofs are done/or back but still waiting on some, should have all the end of this week or next. I am so excited.

Of course he said they came out Great so Far, But all photographers are going to say that about their own work I guess

It only took 3 weeks for the proofs. I was back from my honeymoon and called him at the end of that week. I picked them up the following week, so I guess I got them 4 weeks after the wedding.

I can tell you things are very busy at his house. His wife is putting up a greenhouse so there are plants everywhere, and they're adding a seperate office for John that's going next to the greenhouse. They didn't say when that construction was going to start. His wife just said John's been so busy he's outgrown his office space.

I went to his house when I first met him, I think I will go to his Masapequa office since it is much closer then his home, that was a treck for me.
So I should be right on target and probably get them next week

shell...I went at the end of Jan....so hopefully my album will be ready next month? although I won't be here!!
