VIP Studios--Question if you did your album....

Hi there! I know there are quite a few of you that used John for your wedding. Have you done your albums yet? I am from San Diego so I got our proofs after our wedding, brought them out here and have had them since October! We got the Silver package, so does that mean we pick our pictures for our album and they are all 8x10 or do we choose and have some 5x7's etec..? Then we have to pick out the other 'big' pictures not for the album, is that right? Did you meet with John and did he help you a lot? Should I wait until we can meet again or just do it here and send him our picks?

Thanks so much for all of your help! Any helpful hints in choosing pictures for your album, it is so difficult!

Hi Dierdre...I'm in the process of getting my album done right now...

I hope I can give you some useful advice...

We got our proofs and had both families pick out what they liked...and we picked the pics for our album (my sister used work at a wedding studio...so she was a big help to get the layout done)

then we had to label the back...he said he could write with a ball point pen...but I felt funny...so I wrote on a label and stuck it on the back...

we put how many of the picture we needed and the size (this includes the pics in your wedding album...if you want 8x10s or 10x10s...etc...

then we met with John...it was helpful to do this so that we could explain exactly what we wanted...

tuesday we are meeting with him to 'proof' our album...since we have library bound book, there can be no mistakes...the slip-ins are fixable...

also on a side note...we are moving to SD next month!!! I'd love to talk to you about it!!!

John was very helpful in putting the album together. We were able to do different sizes and not just 8x10 to fit in as many of our favorites as possible. It took a while to do the layout -- but it's a bit overwhelming with so many pictures. Pic out your favorites and label them like you said. I would pick more than what you think will go in the album b/c you might be able to add more picture than you think and you may change your mind on a few after you see them laid out together with John's help.

Stef is completely right...I picked out 113 pictures...and narrowed it down to 63!!
