Re: Vow Renewal
I say no but I am not into the whole vow renewal trend but that's just me. It seems soon after you just make the committment. It used to be that people did it after a crisis or after 20, 30 years of marriage. I don't see the point of doing it after a year or two or three of marriage. Again just my personal feelings, don't want to upset anyone.
But hey if you can get DH to agree and it will make you feel good to do it then go for it.

Re: Vow Renewal
I personally don't think a renewal should be done so soon after the original marriage date. I think it should be reserved for a later special anniversary. DH are hoping to do one for our 10 year anniversary, and my parents are having one this summer for their 40th anniversary. I think 2 years is too soon, but that's just my opinion.

I would wait. I would like to do it 20 or 30 years down the line. JMO

Re: Vow Renewal
DH and I just renewed our vows (WOTY) after 9 months and it was weird....
Don't get me wrong-- I LOVED it and it was very special to us-- and it we worked with an amazing officient and we wrote our own vows... it was just too soon for us. (I guess it's hard to explain)
IMO I would definitely would wait for something along the lines of 10 year.

Yeah, it was just an idea. DH wants no part of it. He says it is way too soon, and I agree.
