Want to see some cute doggy pictures???

I had a photoshoot with my new 40D camera and my parents' dog: Max. He is a mutt (shephard/labador mix) and such a sweetie pie.

What do you think???

Aww thanks! I love him too! He is the cutest mutt ever. And he is so sweet yet so protective over our family - its so adorable.

great shots & adorable pooch! Love the last one...my favorite shooting style is a shallow depth of field like that where just one part of the subject is in focus and the rest blurs out.

They came out great! Did you end up taking the class to use the camera? I want to buy a new camera for when the baby comes...do you recommend yours?

I didnt take the class yet, it is next weekend! I like my camera alot. I actually think that getting a good lens is more important than the camera. Like 20d, 30d, 40d - all good cameras but I dont care for the kit lenses they come with so I went out and bought my own lens and am saving for another good one!

DId it come with a lens? Sorry if this question is silly, I just buy those regular digital cameras, never anything fancy but I am looking into getting something better down the road.

Yes you can buy a 'kit' that has camera and lens. But I just purchased the body by itself and a better lens. I am picky though - so maybe dont go by me. The lens I want is like $1100! LOL!

Thanks I like that one too! He looks so innocent. One of his eyes is not in focus though...argh!
