Wanted to share something with you all..
It's a little braggy about my hubby - but it's really something that meant a lot, so i wanted to share..
Okay so without getting into major details & making this thread a whole lot longer than it has to be, lately Josh & i have had a lot going on..as I'm sure most have in these economic times... We have had a lot of thinking to do, grownup decision making, etc.. and it's been a very emotional last two weeks.. ANYWAYS, at the beginning of last week, I went over to my sil's..she is a PILLAR of faith and I know i can talk to her about anything, I can trust her, and we are on the same wavelength when it comes to our commitments, priorities, faith, etc.. i spent the afternoon there, and then took home some things that we talked about... thought about them, prayed about them, and just got a new perspective on some things... So mid-week after a few days - i had a long talk with josh about all the things we've had on our plate..it was a good talk
So fast forward a few days to friday.. i got home from work, and when i went to go laydown the bed was covered in gifts.. a pair of victoria's secret sweats that i had been eyeing, along with like 5pairs of the little shorts i wear to bed, etc.. In the middle of it all was a page & 1/2 letter from josh.. just saying how much he's seen us both grow both as a couple & indiviually..emotionally, spiritually, etc.. and how much my love & support means to him.. How providing for & loving me has always been his goal, and that he's always known i was made for him, but that through all of this he truly see's that now... There's is a lot more to it, but that is the jist. Now josh has a sensitive side, but it takes a LOT for him to write something emotional, even with me.. be it birthday cards, etc.. so i know this really took a lot, and meant a lot, and was truly from his heart. I just wanted to share it with you..because i'm not just proud of my hubby because of all the grownup decisions we've had coming our way, but because he's a great husband too...and it just goes to show how important real communication is, and how much it is the foundation of our marraiges.
