I am a teacher also- in a neighboring district-and I've learned to be very cautious about information I give out. As you can see, I don't post much, I don't use my real name or my husband's real name, and I won't post pictures. I value my privacy too much- and I am also afraid my in-laws will find this place online and read about my gripes!
Consider changing your screen name or just be a lurker for a while, but don't give us up

I agree with miro and am with the others when I say, Don't go! Change your name! You will always have us as a support group. It's none of their business what you do after hours. LIweddings is probably one of the most tame hobbies you can have! Imagine what else you could be doing that would get other people's panties up in a bunch!

I know I shouldn't get too much into personal info as you mentioned, but me and my DH are also teachers. We actually teach in the same school building so I know it's hard keeping things personal. I also taught in the school I grew up in so it was even harder. I don't know if many of you know this, but my screen name is not my real name. I have done this to protect myself, not from the people I here that I have grown to love and trust, but to those lurkers that have no business knowing who I am.

We will miss you! Please think about this!
