just curious.... the night of your wedding....when you and dh are alone..the day is done..... was it kinda like ' omg its time to take off my wedding dress..... NOOOOOO!!!!' or was it like ' get me outta this thing?'

For me, I wanted the dress off because I got all sweaty from dancing.
But, taking off my headpiece and taking down my hair made me realize that it was all over!

My dress had two corsets: one on the inside, and then I had it altered to have one on the outside as well (long story). Well, when the music stopped and the wedding was over, I thought I would die if I didn't get the dress off IMMEDIATELY. Finally when I got it off, I had lines on my stomach not from my longline bra, but from the DRESS. It gave me an amazing shape, but boy was it tight!!

a combination of the two
By the end of the night (we stayed up with friends until maybe 4 or 5 am) my dress started to feel pretty tight BUT it was still sad to take it off

I was so freakin tired that I couldn't wait to get it off and get my pj's on.......I also couldn't wait to wash my face and get all that makeup off, and get all the pins out of my hair. That took FOREVER, with both my sis and my mom helping me.

I did not want to take it off! I loooooved how I felt inmy gown. I kinda lounged around in it for as long as I could in the hotel room and took one more look in the mirror.

I didn't want to take it off! When we got home, FT had packed up all the leftovers from the CH & also some Viennese stuff. DH carried me over the threshold & up to our bedroom! I needed him to get me out of the dress & he needed to use the bathroom. I proceeded down the steps in my gown & put the trays of food in the fridge in my gown!!!!

it was weird b/c when i took off the skirt and dress, it still felt like i had it on. but i had it on for over 10 hours.

it was definitely 'get me out of this thing'....I took off my dress before I went to the after party at the hotel bar so at the after party I wore my veil and tiara, denim skirt and my just married sweatshirt

I was thinking 'get me out of this thing' I had had enough of it. I put it on about 8am and it didn't come off until 11pm. That was quite enough, thanks. DH was amazed by how many buttons and hooks I was fastened in by. And he thought it was hysterical that the dress stood up on its own after I took it off!

I didn't want to take mine off, it was so sad. But then I realized I had to go to the bathroom so I kinda had to hurry getting out of it!!!!!
I love my dress and I've been dying to try it on again ever since!!!!!

As soon as the limo driver left, DH closed the front door, and I stripped down right there in the living room. Dress, underskirt, bra, everything!
Then I RAN to the bathroom. I hadn't gone in 12 hours, since I had put the dress on in the morning!
But when I came back to the living room and saw it on the floor like that, I kinda felt sad. I knew I would never wear it again. And I felt bad that I discarded it like that.
But when nature calls...

Our wedding was over at 5:30 so when we went back to the hotel room, I didn't want to take it off. DH changed from his tux, but I left mine on. I love everyones shots of us all hanging out, and me still in my gown. Taken at the Inn at the Fox Hollow

I left mine on for as long as humanly possible...but DH started to make faces at me....so I changed....but not until like 9pm. wedding ended at 5.

I was sad taking mine off, but then I started LAUGHING uncontrollably at myself bc I looked in the mirror and remembered that I was so rushed getting dressed in the am bc of the missing BM dress saga that I had a white SNOOPY thong on.....
FH was like 'ummm not exactly what I expected....'

i was sad. i didnt want to take it off. i lounged around the hotel room for a while, looked in the mirror, then it was time to take it off. the next morning i put it on quick, but it wasnt the same.

honestly i was sad to take it off, but couldn't wait to get out of it...i had the long line bra and a corset in my dress, so i was sucked into that baby! plus my dress was HEAVY, so i was sweating in it like crazy...i actually changed out of it after the reception was over, my bridal attendants helped me out of it....i left my veil and head piece on till we got to the hotel.
