We are going to contract tonight (home) UPDATED

To all the new homeowners.
Anything i should make sure is in the contract or last minute pointers. I am ball of NERVES right now. We meet at the lawyers office at 5pm

Curley...where did you find a house??

Did you already have an inspection on the house? If not I would have a clause put in that the sale of the house is contingent on getting a house inspection.

Hi Lisa,
The house is in Deer Park. I definietly had an inspector check it out last week and he gave us the go ahead. I have been quiet about this one for fear of jinxing it but it seems real today. Thanks!!!!

As we were driving to the lawyer's office I got close to the double yellow lines to make a left into his parking lot. Some IDIOT decides I was taking to long to turn (Hello, it was still slippery and I was being cautious!!!!) so he cuts me off.......but on the driver's side!!!!!!! MORON!!! As I was turning he tried to pass me by and I ended up hitting him becasue of his IGNORANCE!!!! WHO THE HECK PASSES ON THE DRIVERS SIDE with oncoming traffic!!!!!!!!! So we pull over and he starts some story about how he didn't see the blinker and whatever. I said we can settle this now b/c it was your fault or we can call the cops. He says it's his word against mine and so I DEFINIETLY called the cops. Of coure he gave his side of the story and it was crap and then I gave mine. The cop decided it was undetermined. UGGGHHH!!! Then he says, 'Sweetheart I have a Mercedes and you have a Honda, Let's see who they believe' .... THE NERVE!!!!! I said I really don't give 2 craps what you have or who you are, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, Have a nice day. Then I get to the Lawyer's office and he cracks some joke saying 'Hope this isn't an Omen'. Ummm, Sir, I didn't find that funny. After this whole ordeal, we signed the contract and he will let me know when we close. I'm stressed but happy.

What a jerk! Why should a judge believe him because of the car he drives. That doesn't make any sense at ALL! Total a$$.

What an A$$ H O L E Um excuse me having a Mercedes gives you the excuse to drive however you want? NOT

Don't stress yourself over it, the guy will get his, and jsut think you and your FI are getting a house!!!
