We are neighors

Yesterday while we were moving, moving and unpacking a pizza delivery truck pulled in front of OUR house. Since I have no mailbox (yet), and no housenumber I figured the kid had the wrong house. Well can you imagine- our neighbors who we never even met sent 2 pizza pies, garlic knots and 2 bottles of soda to us with a note: 'Congratulations of your new home.' Your neighbors The XX Family, address.

OMG. Is that the nicest thing ever? So I told Scott when we are have new neighors someday we have to do the same thing. It was totally unexpected and made us feel that we really made the right decision to live in this neighorhood.

That is such an awesome thing to do for new neighbors! When we moved into our new home, not ONE person came over to say hello!

I will definately keep that in mind for the next neighborhood we move into!

Thanks for all the well wishes. Things are progessing. Of course there is a clog in a pipe someplace but the previous owner (an investment for him, he didn't live here) is sending his guys over to fix it for us- thankfully. At my condo 2 days after I moved in I had a huge plumbing problem too. I guess I am just not lucky with plumbing, but at least this time I don't have to pay $$$$ for the repair. Last time it was $800 Oh, the joys of home ownership

We did go over and thank the neighors. They were very nice.

So I am just trying to unpack- but most of that is done except for my knick knack stuff. I don't have anything on my walls yet- no shelves so that stuff will stay in boxes for a while.
