Thought it would be interesting -- like the thread on the brides board -- to find out where we are all from and grew up.
I grew up in East Setauket most of my life. I graduated from Ward Melville H.S. in 1993. I live in Raleigh, NC now.
I grew up in beautiful Coram :) and went to Longwood HS class of 1994. We live in Atlanta now- it's fun but very different!
in a one bedroom co-op and would love to buy a home here but haven't hit LOTO yet!

I used to live in Middle Island. I would have gone to Longwood I believe. Did you know a Michelle Dumbrowski (I think that was her last name), and/or a Jeannette (Forget her last name -- that helps! :-)) they would have been Class of 93. Haven't seen them since 3/4 grade :-)
Grew up in Michigan, 12 years in NY (Manhattan & Queens) after grad school, then to Boston, now coming back to NY - this time Long Island - Western Suffolk area.
Have been there my whole life, :-)~~

Got you beat by one - I graduated in '75. It doesn't seem that long ago, till you count the years and realize it's ...27 now??? AAAHHH!

born in Ft Writh Texas, grew up ion bklyn- Gravesend section. We sold the house we grew up in in 97. moved to a tiny apt in bensonhurst- attic of a 200 year Victorian...now live in Long Beach, LI...three blocks from the beach!
I went to Oceanside HS ( 85 ) and spent a few years living in Long Beach before I moved just south of Washington DC . We just bought a townhouse in Alexandria, VA. We will make our way back north in a few years , once we start to have kids
My husband and I live across town from my parents and about 2 minutes from his parents who moved here from N. Massapequa(Farmingdale schools) about 6 years ago.

We all get along well--all go out to dinner together on occasion and celebrate holidays together. AND to top things off, my sister-in-law(and MOH) met a guy-friend of mine from high school at my wedding. It was love at first sight and now my new sister and old friend are an item.
You have to love it!
My family is ALL on LI Aunts, Uncles, Cousins - so we are a living sit com too.
Funny Coincidence My Sister who was my MOH is now dating our BM! We are all hoping its a match. I already had a dream that the 4 of us bought a ski house together.
