We ate our cake...

Okay, so on Monday, we went out to dinner for our anniversary and I actually had my dad drop us off and pick us up We wanted to have some wine with dinner and were going to take a cab, but then my dad offered...I asked him with all the picking up and dropping off he's done my who life, did he really think he'd be dropping me off for my first anniversary dinner

Anyway, after dinner, we went back to my parents' house and had our cake and some champagne with them. Cake was okay...kind of tasted like the raspberry filling had fermented a little bit. But it was edible.

All in all, wasn't the most romantic anniversary, but we had a great time

I can't wait to eat our cake - it was SO YUMMY te day of our wedding, so I'm determined to at least try it next month! I have a plan B though - Craig's been refusing to eat our cake top, so if he's really determined NOT to eat our original cake, I'm making him buy us a small Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cake instead! YUM!

my parents picked us from the hotel the morning after our weddign & on the way back fromt eh HM, so it would prorbaly be fitting if they picked us up from the anniversary!
