We found a home and they accepted our bid

Let's hope all works out with the engineer and termite inspector. I didn't even want to think about searching for home just yet. I wanted to take a breather from all the stress from the wedding. DH on the other hand couldn't wait and so, we got lucky in our first day out.

I'm still in shock on how fast it's going. The timing couldn't be more perfect as our lease in our apt. is up in Oct.

Commack. It's so close to the LIE and Northern State Prkwy, which will make DH's life a lot easier. Besides, I'm about 20 min. closer to my mom. She's still far (in S.I.), but it's still closer !

Thanks. We are very fortunate that my ILs are helping us. This was one of their Stipulations.....MUST BE IN A GOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT. And so, we got lucky. We're still waiting on the contract and the engineer though...let's hope it all works out.
