We found our apartment in Cali!!

It's official! We found a complex called Central Park in California and we put down a deposit on an apartment! We're going to be renting the Chelsea model.

It's not exactly what we wanted (we're actually going down in floor space and going up in rent), but the complex has all the amenities we wanted and is in an awesome location and will be great when we have our first baby in a few years. Plus the girl at the rental office is waiting to hear back on a couple more apartments and she said we can always switch to a different model before we move in at no extra cost besides the rent difference.

Very excited!!

Congrats!!!! I love that area. I did a construction job out in Mountain view and would go get lunch at Stamford all the time......Love it!!!!!

Thanks! We loved it too. DH already wants to permanently move there when I'm done with school. And my aunt's psychic (who is freakishly accurate a good chunk of the time) said we might stay. Who knows!!

Thanks everyone!! We are so excited! Finding a place makes it that much more real for us. Hard to imagine in one month and 4 days we'll be on the road, heading out there!!

lol i understand. Cali is a different way of life compared to NYC. Pace is much slower. Takes time to get used too. But the weather is fantastic! lol What part of Cali. I have Family in OC - Mission Viejo area & Santa Barbara - Both Gorgeous!
