We got our wedding video today and just finishing watching it.

The video is nice, but I don't love it. Its ok though, I just wanted to capture the highlights of the day and thats what was done. (We used a non LIW vendor). I really loved reliving the day. DH was a little bored watching it. (It was almost 2 hours). When the recap came on, he said 'we could've just watched this'.

I'm sorry you weren't 100% please with your video, but like you said, it was what you were wanting....the highlights of the day. It's always a great thing to have for memories.....something that a photographer can't capture.......

It will be a nice thing to watch on your 1 year!

I cant waaaaaait to see my video (my fault that I dont have it yet). IM sorry that you arent completely happy with it~but Im sure you watch it and still get excited watching the day all over again

You girls are hilarious!!! DH was dead set against getting a video, then I told him I wanted to hear the sound of our voices and how our kids, that once upon a time us and the GP's could dance!

congrats Joyce!! your DH sounds exactly how mine will when he watches ours (whenever we get it that is lol!). Guys have such little patience, but I guess it still wasn't that long ago that he'd actually want to see the whole thing again......I'm positive Mike will react the same way!

Brian wasn't too thrilled with watching the video either. Right now we only have our raw footage which was about 3 hours long! HIs brother was actually more excited to watch it with me, and he keeps asking me if the edited copy came yet!! Hopefull Brian will like that better!

We felt the exact same way about our video. It was really nicely done, but did we need to capture every second of each of the spotlight dances? The video was 1.5 hours long and we kept wondering when it would be over. The highlight section is really the best part of it.

Well it does get boring watching people dance and stuff even at your own wedding...hahah... we were laughing about that....it's the ceremony and the special dances that were what mattered to us....DH said he'll probably never watch it again...men! Sorry you'r not in love with it....
